Father John Manno, pastor at Holy Family Fairmount, blessed the parish today by welcoming the Pilgrim Statue to be present through the day's Mass schedule. There was a large crowd that gathered around after each Mass to send petitions and pray before Our Lady. I ventured over to the renewed Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. It is beautiful! And got a chance to pray with the Divine Mercy Prayer Group where I took the reflective picture of Our Lady through the windows of the room.

What a beautiful night praying the Rosary/Novena to honor Our Lady's Feasts of the Assumption and Queenship of Mary. With great audience participation and help from Bud and the Holy Spirit, we had our presntatiion without Dr. Pat. We are going to start to celebrate First friday and First Saturdays starting a Fatima prayer cell. Watch for more info. We took a couple of great group shots at the end of the night. At one point in the rosary, the sun hit the rosary that Nelson made and sparkled on the Pilgrim Statue. The Pilgrim Statue was honored by the Knights of Columbus, which added a special blessing on this day. We visited St. Mary's of the Assumption in downtown Binghamton. Thank you to those who spent the day or some part of it with Our Lady. Thanks to Father Jon Werner, now pastor of St. Mary's, for his hospitality and prayer. Enjoy the pictures in this beautiful church.

There was a Brown Scapular investiture and alot of talk about what Our Lady of Fatima asked of us then and is asking now. thank you to all those who atttended throughout the day. Don't you just love this Church? And in the picture of a group praying before the Statue you can see the beautiful statue of St. Marianne Cope in the background. This was her home parish and she lived in the neighborhood. Make sure to view all the pictures. They are in two galleries.

The rainbow in the slide show accompanied me from the Fairgrounds to Dewitt last night. I took the picture from St. Mary's Cemetery in Dewitt. The pictures below show the beauty of St. Mary's Church. They were taken this morning after the 9am Mass. Richard Bingold spoke again and then after Mass, a small healing service "broke out". What a blessing. Richard is so generous with his time and heartfelt prayer. The joy that is visisble on his face must reflect the joy of God as His children seek Him for healing. The great Sacramet of Healing we have is the Sacrament of Reconcilation (aka Confession, Penance) and priests will be available duirng the healing service Monday night. Adoration at 6pm, followed by the rosary, Richard's talk and then the healing prayer at St. Mary's of the Assumption, Baldwinsville. |
