This is a big week for LIFE!  January 22 is the Day of Prayer for the Protection of Life and January 24 is the National March for Life in Washington D.C.

Two longtime Marian Center friends, Jane Pigott and Louise Donahue passed away recently.  Both women were strong Pro Life advocates.    Read Monsignor Yennock's eulogy from  Jane's funeral here. 
A tribute for Louise from the ​December newsletter can be read here.   Louise participated Saturday mornings weekly at Planned Parenthood to pray the Rosary to end abortion.   A young college friend of the Donahue's shares her assignment on a Social Justice Organization, Louise's beloved Circle of Hope.

See a rose.   Pray a Rosary.

This saying was coined by Rosary Maker, Nelson Kirkpatrick.   Nelson and wife, Alice started rosary making at the Marian Center about five years ago.   They have taught many people this sacred craft.   Much love and prayers go into the rosaries.   The initial group has grown and now meets at the Franciscan Villa on Buckley Road.  Learn how to make rosaries.  The group is currently making rosaries individually at their homes but watch for info on our getting together again.
