This picture was taken in 1998 in Medjugorje. We visited Vicka, one of the six Medjugorje visionaries, and heard her give a talk to a large crowd of people outside her home. Vicka has her finger up to her lips, The tall man with a smile and blue jacket is Richard Bingold who made the Pilgrim Rosary in 1993 from stones on Apparition Hill. Richard returned in 1994 and had the Rosary blessed by Father Jozo. Vicka presented it to Our Lady during her daily apparition. Our Lady approved it to travel as a "Pilgrim Rosary."
The lovely lady in the brightly colored jacket is my sister, Jo. She had been battling cancer since December 1995. When she called to tell me, she asked if I would pray for her and told me she had been praying the Rosary every day. She told me about Medjugorje. I had never heard of it, but as I know now, God always has a plan and He tied Jo and I together with Richard for my first of four pilgrimages to Medjugorje. Jo died three months after we returned but she came home with peace from the Queen of Peace. There is much more to see and know about Medjugorje. You can look at pictures over the years on the tab for Five Decades of Pictures. Our YouTube site, CNY Marian Center, has videos from all of my four pilgrimages. Please enjoy this site and let us know if you have a story to share. God bless, Regina Harty
